It's almost time to turn on the boiler: is everything ready in your house?

Before officially starting the winter season by turning on the boiler, ordinary annual maintenance must be carried out.
There are in fact a series of checks and maintenance actions that must be carried out to ensure the correct functioning of the boiler.

Cleaning the boiler

In technical jargon, ordinary boiler maintenance is called "cleaning" and must be carried out every year using the expertise of the technical assistance center of the boiler brand.
This operation carried out by competent technicians guarantees the maintenance of the boiler's warranty and above all that essential parts of the product are handled by trained personnel to manage that specific type of boiler.

The boilers in the Acquaclick catalog are of the best known brands both nationally and internationally and each of the brands has certified assistance centers distributed throughout the national territory. The search for a reference assistance center for each end user is therefore very easy.

Cleaning the boiler consists of checking and cleaning the main components of the boiler and which are therefore essential for the correct functioning of the appliance. They must therefore be cleaned: valves, pipes and coil. But also the burner and the fume exchanger.
Careful cleaning of all these components ensures correct operation of the boiler which will therefore also have consumption levels with respect to the type of boiler and the system.

Smoke control

In Italy, there is a regulation that determines how often the smoke control must be carried out. The fume control is used to keep the exchanger clean, which is that part of the boiler that is responsible for expelling the exhaust fumes generated by combustion. It is important that it is always very clean and in perfect working order also for the energy efficiency of the boiler.
The smoke check must be done every year for boilers with a nominal power greater than 100kW and every two years for all other boilers.

We recommend, whatever the brand of your boiler and its power, to carry out regular maintenance by relying on a specialized technician to guarantee the correct functioning of your heating system.
