An efficient air conditioner is now a must have in the home when summer approaches but not only. Let's see the best models on Acquaclick.

Buying a new air conditioner requires consideration of a number of fundamental factors, such as the space available for the system, the size of the rooms and the degree of insulation of the entire building.

In this article we want to provide you with some guidelines on how to choose the most suitable air conditioner for the rooms in your home.

How do you choose an air conditioner?

The first factor to take into consideration is obviously the surface to be cooled, which allows you to determine the best power, location and type of air conditioner to buy.

The air conditioners most used at a residential level are the so-called monosplit or multisplit air conditioners, characterized by the presence of an outdoor unit and one or more indoor units.

The external unit of the air conditioner contains the compressor and the fan while the internal unit has the task of allowing correct distribution of the air inside the room.

Choosing the best location for the air conditioner could also be quite complex, especially if you have little space available or if you find yourself in constrained situations such as an apartment within a condominium context.

Let's see better when it is advisable to buy a monosplit air conditioner or a multisplit air conditioner.

- MONOSPLIT AIR CONDITIONER: consists of a single indoor unit which is connected to the outdoor unit and is a rather simple system, suitable for cooling or heating a single room or when the apartment is small.

- MULTISPLIT AIR CONDITIONER: consists of two or more indoor units connected to a single higher power outdoor unit and allows you to cool and heat several rooms even if not at the same time.

Surely a multi-split air conditioning system is the best solution in large houses (whether they are apartments or single villas) but the system requires more complex ducting and is therefore advisable when you are carrying out an internal renovation of the apartment.

If, on the other hand, you want to install an air conditioner without going to do excessively demanding jobs and still guarantee an improvement in the comfort of the home, you can opt for an air conditioner
