Cristina taps: synonymous with quality and design

The Cristina Rubinetterie company was founded in 1949 by Ezio Cristina and has undergone continuous growth over the years which has led it to become a leading company on an international level, recognized as a synonym of quality and design.

Story of Cristina Rubinetterie
The fundamental stages in the history of Cristina Rubinetterie are essentially two:

- the acquisition in the 80s of the Silfra brand, a company specialized in the production of waste pipes and electronic taps for public places

- entry in 2017 into the Caleffi group, a leading company in the production of components for strictly Made in Italy heating, plumbing and air conditioning systems. This operation is aimed at guaranteeing the continuity of the brand and constant growth at an international level as well.

Relationship with architects and designers
Also in 2017, Cristina Rubinetterie opened a new showroom in Milan, four windows in the prestigious context of Brera, the design district.

The opening of this new exhibition point was an opportunity to foster dialogue with the designers and strengthen the company's brand awareness, always guaranteeing solutions suitable for the most demanding architectural requests.

Cristina Rubinetterie has an internal research department, the CRISTINA Design Lab, which aims to conceive and develop innovative solutions that meet the product quality needs of international clients.

Thanks to this constant study, in fact, Cristina Rubinetterie has always stood out on the market for the innovations included in its production: it was in fact among the first European companies to introduce the thermostatic mixer (in 1968) and to introduce a range of 100 colors different surfaces thanks to the creation of special departments for painting and galvanic coloring.

The constant search for quality is a strategic objective for this company which also translates into the search for ecological raw materials: an example is the stainless steel used by Cristina Rubinetterie which is guaranteed by the Centro Inox quality mark and features high performance techniques able to stand the test of time while maintaining excellent quality and aesthetic performance.

The Tricolore Verde collection, designed by CRISTINA Design Lab in 2001, is the most complete series in the entire Cristina Rubinetterie catalogue.

The range is continuously enriched to meet customer needs and, with in-depth study, to anticipate their needs.

The great success of this collection is due to the minimal and simple structure with a cylindrical body without any superfluous elements; the stylistic continuity of this collection is maintained and enhanced over time.

The mixers are created starting from a simple de-zincified brass bar, a process which allows for the creation of a wide range of solutions both in terms of the height of the mixer body and in terms of the length of the spout.
